Overview

Decentralized water treatment, configured for rapid deployment.

Virelia supplies mobile and containerized water treatment plants sourced from established international manufacturers and technical partners, configured to each project's technical requirements. From our established base in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza, we coordinate local deployment requirements with international water-system suppliers.

Containerized plants house the treatment equipment in transportable modular units, reducing site construction and allowing capacity to be deployed faster than conventional permanent infrastructure. Virelia does not manufacture the equipment. Its role is to define the requirement, source the appropriate system, and coordinate procurement, logistics, deployment and lifecycle support.

Technical configuration

Six inputs define every configuration.

These are the project inputs Virelia reviews before sourcing a system.

RefDesign inputConsideration
T-01Source WaterSeawater, brackish water, groundwater, surface water or other available source.
T-02Water Analysis / Source-Water QualitySalinity, TDS, suspended solids and other characteristics required for system configuration.
T-03Required CapacityTreated-water production capacity according to project demand.
T-04Target Water QualityTreated-water specifications based on intended use and project requirements.
T-05Site & Power ConditionsElectrical supply, site access, space, drainage, environmental conditions and deployment requirements.
T-06Technical SpecificationsClient specifications, BOQ, applicable standards, automation, storage and distribution requirements.

Final system configuration is confirmed with the selected manufacturer against source-water analysis, required capacity, target water quality and the client's technical specifications.

Rapid deployment

Water infrastructure that can be deployed while permanent systems are being developed.

Permanent utility-scale water and desalination infrastructure can require extensive planning, engineering, financing and construction. Where demand is immediate, containerized systems can provide decentralized treatment capacity during the transition.

Long-term permanent solution

Gaza recovery

In Gaza, containerized treatment plants can provide a practical transitional solution where existing systems are damaged, constrained or unable to meet demand.

They can support communities, institutions, agricultural projects, recovery programs and temporary infrastructure while permanent water and utility-scale desalination infrastructure is planned, rebuilt and commissioned.
