Our story

Built from Operating Experience in Gaza

Virelia Development Group is a newly established company built from practical procurement, logistics, supply and project experience developed through prior operations in Gaza.

That experience includes maintaining procurement, logistics, supply and project-support activities through severe disruption during the war in Gaza, where sourcing, material movement, storage and coordination required adaptability and practical local knowledge.

Virelia was established to bring these capabilities into a more structured platform designed to support institutional humanitarian, recovery, infrastructure and development programs.

Our vision

A Reliable Partner for Humanitarian Delivery and Recovery

Virelia’s vision is to become a reliable long-term partner for United Nations organizations, government agencies, international NGOs, municipalities and development institutions delivering humanitarian assistance, infrastructure recovery and development programs.

Gaza is our immediate priority, where humanitarian needs and reconstruction will depend on coordinated international sourcing, procurement, logistics, technical support and local execution.

Over time, Virelia aims to apply the same operating model across Palestine and the wider MENA region.

Rooted in Gaza

Local Knowledge That Shapes How We Deliver

Gaza is central to Virelia’s identity. Its founders are from Gaza, and the operating experience behind the company was developed through direct involvement in the local market and project environment.

This provides first-hand understanding of local operating conditions, supply constraints, workforce realities, supplier relationships, logistics challenges and the practical requirements involved in moving materials and delivering projects.

Our commitment

For Virelia, Gaza is not simply a project market. It is the community from which the company’s founders come and a central focus of its long-term development mission.

Established operational presence

A Deir Al-Balah Base Supporting Operations Across Gaza

Local infrastructure. Proven execution capacity.

Virelia has an established operational base in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza, providing the company with immediate access to local logistics infrastructure, warehousing, transportation and experienced manpower.

Deir Al-Balah continues to function as an important operational and commercial centre within the Gaza Strip, making it a practical base for humanitarian, reconstruction, infrastructure and development activities.

Through its local network, Virelia has access to more than 20,000 square metres of warehouse space, transportation vehicles and experienced personnel covering logistics, warehousing, procurement support, material handling, site operations and project execution.

This capacity is supported by a proven local track record. Virelia's team and associated operational network have successfully supported and delivered numerous projects in Gaza during wartime conditions, including logistics, warehousing, food-service infrastructure, cold-chain facilities and humanitarian supply activities.

This existing presence allows Virelia to mobilize rapidly, coordinate locally and connect international procurement and technical resources with practical execution capacity on the ground in Gaza.

Looking ahead

A Long-Term Commitment to Gaza

Virelia views Gaza’s recovery as a long-term development effort rather than a short-term response. Immediate humanitarian requirements will gradually transition into rehabilitation, infrastructure reconstruction, housing, water, energy, healthcare, logistics and broader economic recovery.

Virelia intends to build the supplier relationships, technical partnerships, local execution capabilities and institutional systems required to support projects across these different phases.

Our objective is to grow alongside Gaza’s recovery while expanding the same delivery model across Palestine and the wider MENA region.
